Clone the employee data from one clint to another clint in SAP HCM

This is an useful tool EPI-USE and EPI-USE is mainly used in HCM and i am mainly concerned with the DSM(data sync Manager).

the purpose of this tool is to clone the employee data from one clint to another clint. for ex: if you want to test the some scenario for an employee where that employee data was not found in development or quality clint where you can copy the entire employee structure from production clint to required clint

How to find Tcode of a node in SAP Customsing IMG

Lets say we want to find the Tcode of Plan version maintainace from PM->Plan version maintainance

1.one way is you go to execute the node
go to system and click on status and you will find TCD

2.spro->f5->click additional information ->display ket->document
against every node you will find additional information(middle one).there will be three seperators

for example for plan version you will find SIMG SIMG_CFMENUOHP0OOPV.The last four is the TCD

How to find the SAP Customisng IMG path from Table name

Lets say you have T880 for ex-define companies and we would like to know the IMG path then following the below steps will help

TCD-SM30/31
enter the table name
ex-T880
click on Customzing
click continue without specifying project
it will list the IMG activies ,just double click and it will take you the right place in IMG.

Steps to change SAP image on the right hand column of screen

Steps to change the default SAP IMAGE on the right hand column of the screen

Transaction code - SMW0
check Binary data for WebRFC application
press Enter
Click Execute
Click Settings -> Maintain MIME types
Click the Create button
Fill in :- TYPE : image/gif EXTENSION : .GIF
Click Save

Click Back to the Binary data for WebRFC
Click Create
Fill in :- Obj. name : zlogo.gif
Description : Company Logo
Click Import and specify the filename where your
GIF file is located.File type is BIN. Finish press the
Transfer button.
If successful, your logo will be shown in the Binary data for WebRFC.

Now run Transaction code SM30 - Table/View - SSM_CUST
Click Maintain
Click New Entries
Name Value to be set
START_IMAGE zlogo.gif
RESIZE_IMAGE NO
Logoff and Login again

Check on DEVELOPMENT environemnt first. Hope it helps.

U can got to T-code Se16 and type in table name as HRP5103, u can see all the Erec infotype table by putting in table name as hrp5*, which will list u almosy all the table views for Erec.

How do we segregate change request projectwise

Interesting thing i noticed and happy sharing this ..thanks to contrbutors for sharing their experience

TCD SPRO you can change the settings to force adding a Project.

steps to do the same is

Start Tx SE38
Run Program RSWBO006
Either Add or Amend the Attribute SAP_CTS_PROJECT
Select Attribute Value Obligatory

Project can be created using TCD -SPRO_ADMIN

SAP HCM/HR Time Management scenario-T554S

Scenario-if the employee is having cl for 10 days....
if he is trying to apply leave more than 10 days ...system should throw an error message

possible config steps in IMG

You could also set the maximum absence and attendance duration in table T554S.

Best approach is to create quotas and use the functional limit in combination with table T559P or use types an constants.In both cases rules have to be written to handle this..

Reverse Posting of payroll results-HR to FI

Say there is a scenario where the end user has due to oversight post the results twice or there is wrong entry in master data(bonus) for ex..and how can this be handled in SAP payroll side?

TCD PCP0-display positing runs

click edit from menu->filter->delete filter

choose the documentum id that you want to reverse

click edit->reversal->reverse document

please note the status of that documentum like doc created,not created,incorrect docs etc

Once you have reversed the document you can then make the relevant changes and repost the corrected document.

please note You can't reverse the posting for an individual employee. You need to reverse the whole document and then fix the issue or exclude the employee from the posting run and then repost the whole document
